NWCX Project will be doing a soft launch this weekend at the fantastic Washington Women of Cross event at 
St. Edwards Park in Kenmore! WWCX is a women’s specific cyclocross event that is the only one of its kind in the nation! The riders will be showcasing their new equipment and their skills all day so please come say hi! When we’re not helping out, you can find us at the First Strike Velo/Slalom Consulting tent.
Riders Shannon and Hayden will 
be helping Washington Women’s Cyclocross stalwart Kristi Berg at both the beginner and intermediate/advanced skills clinics and will also be leading the kids’ race. We 
invite all junior riders and their families to visit us in the kids’ zone where the riders will be answering questions, helping with skills, and passing out kids’ treats from Clif Bar.
Team mechanic Niels Thogersen will be on hand at the First Strike Velo/Slalom Consulting tent to help with minor bike fixes and to answer questions about how to work on your own bike! Finally, team founder and director Jessica Cutler will be at the festival to talk to families and junior women about joining The Project and being part of the first women’s cyclocross junior development program in the Northwest!
